Becas Euroeast de movilidad para países del Este de Europa
Dentro del programa europeo Erasmus Mundus Action 2, el proyecto EuroEast, del que la UPV es socio, ofrece becas de movilidad de varios meses a países del Este de Europa durante el año 2013 para estudiantes de grado, máster y doctorado.
Los países son: Armenia, Azerbaiján, Bielorusia, Georgia, Moldavia y Ucrania.

Research vacancies at Fiep System, Brazil.
The System Federation of Industries of State of Paraná (Fiep System) is implementing in Curitiba its Industry Campus, an innovation habitat composed by several innovative initiatives guided to the development of the industrial community. Among the new investments planned, there is the creation of 03 institutes: (i) Industrial Technological Convergence Institute; (ii) Sustainable Industrial Development Institute; and (iii)Institute of Reference in Education for Industry.
Over the next 02 to 03 years (2013 to 2015) they will be setting the conceptual and institutional structures of these initiatives. Thus, we are offering this opportunity so that young foreign doctors/researchers can be incorporated into research groups that are being formed.

Postdoc positions at Aalto Science Institute
Aalto Science Institute have published a call for Aalto Science Fellows.
These positions are targeted for young scientists (Postdoc) of great promise who demonstrate exceptional abilities in research. The positions are for 3 year period. Deadline for applications 14.12.2012.
Secondly, Aalto Science Institute’s internship programme for summer 2013 will open their application form 17.12.2012 and the deadline for student applications is 31.1.2013. At the moment there are positions in the field of physics and applied mathematics and computer and information science. This information could be distributed to your undergraduate (Bachelor-level) students.

Beca de 3 meses para la realización de prácticas en Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU) (Ucrania). Curso 2012/13
La Subdirección de Relaciones Exteriores de la E.T.S.I. Geodésica, Cartográfica y Topográfica convoca una beca para la realización de prácticas en Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU, http://lp.edu.ua/en/ig) (Ucrania) dirigida a estudiantes de último curso de las titulaciones Ingeniero Técnico en Topografía o Ingeniero en Geodesia y Cartografía. Las prácticas podrán estar dirigidas a la realización del trabajo fin de carrera. La beca está financiada por la Unión Europea a través del proyecto TEMPUS-GIDEC, y el objeto es realizar trabajos relacionados con una de las siguientes especialidades: Geodesia y construcción; Gravimetría; o Láser escáner en arquitectura.
Características de la beca:
– Tema: Trabajos prácticos en Geodesia/cartografía
– Duración: 3 meses (a realizar entre febrero y mayo de 2013)
– Dotación: 800 euros/mes + billete de avión
Requisitos del solicitante:
– Ser estudiante de último curso de Ingeniería Técnica Topográfica o de Ingeniería en Geodesia y Cartografía, pendiente de la finalización del TFC
– Conocimientos avanzados de inglés o ruso.
