The University of Bologna invites applications for its intensive Greek<\/strong> and Latin Summer School (2018)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The school offers classes in Greek and Latin at two different levels (beginners and intermediate). It is possible to combine two classes (one in Latin and one in Greek) at a special rate.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
The courses will take place in Bologna, in the Department of Classics and Italian studies (http:\/\/www.ficlit.unibo.it), from 18th June to 6th July 2018 and are open to students (undergraduate and post-graduate) and non-students alike. Participants must be aged 18 or over. Students in need of accommodation will benefit from special rates at Students hall in the city centre of Bologna.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As usual, the teaching will be focused mainly on the linguistic aspects and the syntax of Greek and Latin; additional classes will touch on moments of classical literature, ancient history and history of art, supplemented by visits to museums and archaeological sites (in Bologna and Rome).<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

All teaching and social activities will be in English.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
